"This was an amazing learning experience. I was mentored by Julie through this grieving process and she really guided me to a healthier path. She taught me that grieving is ok and helped me understand why I am grieving. The part I found most interesting was that I was grieving a person that is still alive. Grief comes in waves and forms in many different ways in the mind. Luckily Julie helped me understand that it’s ok to let go of the stigma people have around grief. It’s nothing to be ashamed of and I really felt this was a cleansing experience. When I do think about this person I lost, I deal with it a lot healthier than I would have in the past. I recommend this for anyone that feels alone and as if the loss of someone follows you around.
